Welcome to the Office of Fellowships

The mission of Rice’s Fellowships Office is to equip Rice University undergraduates, graduates, and alumni to effectively compete for prestigious/merit-based national and international fellowships (i.e., Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Fulbright, Watson, Madison, Truman, Goldwater, Jack Kent Cooke, etc.), research opportunities, and internship opportunities in an effort to produce nationally and internationally distinguished scholars and skilled future leaders.

If you are interested in pursuing a prestigious scholarship or fellowship opportunity,

  • Browse the different types of scholarships and fellowships that exist.

  • Familiarize yourself with the criteria needed for the opportunities that interest you.

  • Decide if any of the awards match your academic and/or professional goals and interests.

  • Schedule an appointment with the Fellowships Office to find out how you should prepare and when you should apply. OFUR Office Hours
